Oldschool Photostudio

Hi

After i got so much response about this setup, i thought i put it on the site. You can easily link External Render Controls to the Xpresso, so you can use it also with Maxwell, Final Render, Fry & Co. Also if you are not familiar with Arealights you should take that chapter of the cinema help for your goodnight storry.

Tips:

  • You have to adjust the light intensity, acording the sice of the area light, especially for the top light. If you stretch it to 100×100% you probably have to push the intensity over 200% to get a white floor. Of course the other lights add so make some tests till you got the right black to white balance.
  • The falloff of the back Lights (V0.4) also affects their respective specularity.

    left 50% (not seen), right back 100% (500% reflective multiplier) top 100% (100% reflective multiplier). GI on on low settings about 1 minute rendertime.
